Millenium Tree (Tree of Peace)
"As mankind emerges from the mists of time to enter a new millennium, hope abounds that all nations will be united in friendship and love (hidden faces) encircle our fragile and incredibly complex world. The D.N.A. bracelet twines round the "helping hand" guiding the younger hand of humanity that strives to explore and learn so much more.
You will find a number of famous characters that have influenced and shaped our past, present and future e.g. Darwin, Einstein, Beethoven etc.The left side symbolises nature - while the right symbolises technology and the future. The dove symbolises peace and the rainbow hope. The hands either side of the tree symbolise the need for our beautiful world to be protected forever”

To me, this picture is showing every aspect of the world. It shows how everyone and everything is connected. It speaks out on why we all need each other to survive; we can’t make it alone. It displays what the world and the people in it would look like if it was a better place; with no hate, no fear, no cruelty, and not even speck of negative in this place we call home. We are all a huge family, if we want the world like this picture portrays then WE have to make it that way.

Wings
"High above the clouds, an angel rides her precious steed, accompanied by her entourage of butterflies. Carried by a winged unicorn whose powerful wings contain a heavenly kingdom, where a host of angels play their morning glory instruments, she holds tightly onto his flowing mane. As he flies the tips of his wings create new galaxies"

Be free like a butterfly and strong like a unicon. Don’t be afraid to explore and discover new things that you never knew exsisted. Life is about taking risks, it is what you make let it be. As long as you beleive anything can happen. Find new routes for yourself and others to follow in the future.

"Aquarius: January 20—February 18
Aquarians follow their own path, marching to the beat of their own drum. They are happy to have you along, but would never force their way on anyone. Their congenial attitude and habit of setting trends ensure they are seldom lacking for company. Logical and detached, they can seem aloof, but will work tirelessly to improve conditions for all humankind. New ideas pour freely from their fertile, far-reaching minds as they search for knowledge and truth. In Greek mythology, Aquarius was the Rain God who poured water onto a parched world below.”

"Scorpio:
At the heart of the constellation Scorpius, the red giant star Antares burns with a fiery intensity matched by astrological Scorpio’s passionate temperament. Ruled by Pluto, Greek God of the Netherworld, Scorpio is intimately connected with the extremes of life, with beginnings and endings, conception and lasting legacies.
As the sign of purpose and success, the dedication and drive of Scorpio is unmatched. Of course, if a Scorpio’s anger is aroused, or she feels out of control and disordered, the sting of rebuke will be unmistakable! Scorpios thrive in pursuits that require intuition and deeper understanding, including medicine, spirituality, and philosophy.”

"Cancer: June 22—July 22
Cancer rules the Fourth House of the Zodiac, known as the “House of Family and Home.” This house represents the effects of our earliest experiences and of the nurturing we receive as children, and the way this anchors and guides our lives. Anyone lucky enough to be within a Cancerian’s inner circle enjoys a secure sense of comfort and belonging. Cancer is a water sign associated with the moon, a combination that leads to shifting moods and deeply felt emotions. Though they may sometimes appear impervious on the outside, perhaps even irritable, inside they’re all heart, kind and loving to the core.”

Bygone Summers

"On a warm midsummer day, the young girl enjoys the sun on her face, while her shady hat is filled with the essence of summer times. The straw becomes a cornfield abounding with wild flowers and butterflies, and little scenes of idyllic rural life."

Summer is the season where you enjoy the sun. It is the time to relax, do whatever you want, and have fun.

Weep for the World
"Looking on from above an angel is very sad, because we are not caring for our beautiful planet. Instead of nurturing all life, and not taking it for granted we insist on using up all our precious resources and putting ourselves in peril. It seems that we do not realise that this earth is the greatest wonder ever known. Perhaps her tears will heal the damage already done - after all, there is always a rainbow of hope."
This painting shows the pain we’re causing to Earth by creating more technology, cutting down forests, and slowly but surely killing our planet. The rainbow signifies that there is still hope in saving ourselves from destruction. We can stop most of the polluting and danger we are causing. We cant keep causing ourselves and our Earth pain.

An Even Smaller World

"At the bottom of an enchanted garden, an inquisitive fairy child peeps into a convolvulus flower only to discover a wondrous new world where the inhabitants are even smaller than she. Inside the blossom, the mermaid and woman are immersed in their own little universe, completely unaware of their fairy spectator.Like these enchanted beings, we are living in our own little world within other worlds, and what is large and small ultimately depends on how we look at life."

Flight of Aquarius
"Soaring high above the clouds, a girl rides the Pegasus Unicorn, her hair flowing in the breeze created by the gentle beating of his wings. Together they follow the rainbow of hope as it leads them into a future of peace and love for all."
Josephine Wall did an amazing job of expressing the beauty of hope and love. She shows a young girl riding her majestic unicorn to a land of peace. Where there is no war, no hate, and no violence. If only such a place existed…

Time is one of my greatest enemies; there are never enough hours in the day to paint all the images in my head. I feel I have a responsibility to keep painting as long as I am able, artists never retire.
